A dangerous ecological situation in the Ukraine capital calls for that natural arboreal vegetation does not destroy, and became the part of planting of greenery of housing massifs and production units. The plantations always are considered as an obligatory component of arrangements complex as for improvement of natural environment protection, for planning of building and organization of housing massifs. Municipal forests, plantations of general use, inner block plantations of housing regions, streets plantations, grass-plots, flower gardens and other belong to green plantations system of Kyiv that are the State woodsy fund. Area of all municipal green plantations of Kyiv upon different categories is 36,1 th. h. It occupies a significant part of municipal territory ( 43,2% of municipal area ). The important component of planting of greenery system is plantations in the middle of micro-regions, including the gardens near some groups of dwelling-houses, mikro-region gardens, avenues, plantations on allotments near child preschool, near schools and sporting constructions and etc. Naturally-protected municipal fund bodies are of importance, too. Apportionment of significant areas for departments and municipal organizations for permanent or long-term use had a negative influence to ecological state of municipal forests. The using caused excluding of first-class planting from the state woodsy fund. There are a lot of violations of protected regime at some reserve territories. A general ecological state influences on the state of green plantations, forests aging natural processes, damage by insects and parasites. Development of green economy in the town directs to new areas creation, a landscape reconstruction. A works' complex is taking in the general use plantations (parks, gardens, boulevards). They support the necessary sanitary state of these territories. Besides that a series of unique natural territories within the Blue zone needs to be given the natural protective status. However during the last years the municipal budget almost does not apportion any special purpose funds directed to providing of upkeep and protection of natural reserve territories.
